ECOTORRE is the result of our response
to the ever-growing demand for healthy, natural food products.
Our organically-grown pigs are fed
exclusively organic raw materials; that is, products developed with no
chemical substances and using cultivation techniques that favour
environmental balance.
In addition to careful attention to the
feed given, ECOTORRE considers another two factors fundamental to the
process of pig breeding: the quality of their surroundings and the time
allowed for growth to maturity.
The farms where ECOTORRE pigs grow have
ample space in which the animals can move about freely.In this way, they
develop normal behavioural characteristics in a natural setting.
We also allow our pigs to fatten
naturally, without rushing. We do not alter their growth, so that the
meat obtained has all the excellent qualities of animals bred in
liberty.
